Usami Genichirou (宇佐美源一郎?) is a minor character who appears in KiraKira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode. He is the father to Usami Ichika, and husband to Usami Satomi.

Genichirou is an average sized man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is mostly seen in a karate outfit and wears sandals.
Personality[]
He is a loving and caring father, and can easily tell if Ichika is feeling troubled by just looking at her. However, he can get rather overdramatic sometimes, which can embarrass Ichika a lot.
Relationships[]
- Usami Ichika: His daughter, whom he loves dearly. He takes care of Ichika while her mother is traveling around the world as a doctor.
- Usami Satomi: His wife. They cherish the time they spend together due to Satomi's job.
History[]
In episode 1, Genichirou tries to greet Ichika, but she is too excited about her mom returning and ignores him, which disappoints him.
In episode 11, Genichirou wants to tag along with Ichika for the Sweets Festival, but Ichika is embarrassed by his enthusiasm and accidentally hurts his feelings. He then decides to buy a shortcake for her and her friends, and tries to protect it for Ichika even it means getting hurt by the combined Kirakiraru Thieves, before temporarily falling unconscious. He later wakes up and receives a a fruit tart from Ichika, and is deeply touched by her gesture, embarrassing her again.
In episode 24, Genichirou is training with his dojo students, when he comes across Ciel. He invites Ciel to train with them, and they become fast friends. He is also happy to see that Ichika has Ciel as her friend.
In episode 31, Genichirou is happy to have his wife Satomi visit him and Ichika and has a family dinner with them. He then gives both his wife and daughter some alone time together for them to clear things up. He later takes Satomi to the airport to send her off the next day, and they get to see Ichika's beautifully made cake for Satomi.
In episode 36, he trains with Ichika for the sports day. He also participates in the three legged race with her.
In episode 39, he is among the townspeople who have been forcibly turned into nendos by Grave, forcing Whip to fight against him. He gets turned back into normal in the following episode.
In episode 46, Genichirou and Satomi are among the guests who are going to celebrate Ichika's birthday, until Noir interrupts and drains his Kirakiraru along with the other guests'. He, like the other townspeople, then loses his emotions and memories in the next episode, but regains them after the Cures regain theirs and have Kirakiraru scattered all over the town.
He is among the people disappearing from the world in episode 48, but along with the other people is saved by the Cures who manage to convince Elisio to change his mind, and resumes celebrating Ichika's birthday.
