Sakura (サクラ Sakura?) is a movie-exclusive character from the movie Pretty Cure Dream Stars!. In the movie, she seeks the Pretty Cure who stand for keys, jewels, and sweets to have save her home of Sakuragahara and her friend, a fox named Shizuku, from the evil Karasu Tengu.

Appearance[]
Sakura has red hair formed into pigtails and red matching eyes. She wears a dress with splash color on it topped off with a red bow. She has long socks and high heel like sandals. She has a bow on her back of her dress. She has gold bracelets and white sleeves. She has fairly large eyelashes and pink rosy cheeks.
As a younger child, she didn't wear earrings, she had a shorter build, and her hair was noticeably shorter.
Personality[]
She is an innocent young girl who loves to play with her best friend Shizuku. At first, she is shy around the Cures but later grows fond of them. She cares deeply for Shizuku, even crying whenever she misses her.
Relationships[]
Shizuku - She and Shizuku became friends when Shizuku comforted Sakura beneath a cherry blossom tree.
Etymology[]
Sakura (桜?) means 'cherry blossoms' and is the name of a flower in Japan.
History[]
As a younger child, a lonely Sakura met Shizuku who comforted her when she was crying under a cherry blossom tree. She was later rescued from falling off a cliff by Shizuku. They promised each other to watch the cherry blossoms bloom one day.
A few years later, Sakura and Shizuku are under Karasu Tengu's attack. Shizuku gives Sakura three cards before pushing her into the portal so that she would not be captured by the Tengu. She ends up landing in Ichigozaka and encounters Usami Ichika, who saves her from Akainu. She also meets the rest of the KiraKira Cures, the Mahou Cures and the Princess Cures, slowly becoming friends with them. She later recalls how she met Shizuku to Ichika tearfully.
Upon returning to Sakuragahara, Sakura finally meets Karasu Tengu for the first time, and once again she tries to escape from them. Sakura is horrified when she realizes not only have most of the Cures gotten turned into origami, but Samidare is actually a brainwashed Shizuku. At first, Sakura is heartbroken about the revelation, but Whip's courage against Karasu Tengu encourages her to help convince Shizuku to return to normal. She and Shizuku later encourage the Cures to combine their powers and attack Karasu Tengu's nose, and they are defeated for good.
Sakura is last seen with Shizuku and the Cures enjoying the cherry blossom picnic together.
Trivia[]
- Sakura's overall design is based on a red Japanese fish, known as nishikigoi, or more commonly "koi".
- During some events of the movie, Sakura uses her Miracle Light to break the 4th wall in order to seek out the audience’s help on her search for the Pretty Cures.
