Sakuma Toshiko is Hanasaki Tsubomi and Kurumi Erika's classmate in Heartcatch Pretty Cure. She later becomes a member of Erika's fashion club. Like the rest of the girls, she likes fashion, but originally not to the point of joining the club.

Meeting TsubomiEdit

Toshiko, along with her friends Sawai Naomi and Kuroda Rumiko, is present in class when the teacher, Tsurusaki, presents them the new student, Tsubomi. Despite Erika giving Tsubomi a hard time, Toshiko and her friends eat lunch with her and get to know more about where she previously lived. When Erika bumbs in and accidentally eats Tsubomi's favorite food, Toshiko tells Tsubomi that Erika lives by her own pace, and thus she must be firm with her. ^HPC01

Some days later, after hearing a wonderful translation of a poem by Tsubomi, the girls gather around to ask her about it. When Myoudouin Itsuki arrives to inform Erika that if she has not signed in three more members and given the list to the student council by the end of the day, the club will be disbanded. Noticing that Erika looks at Toshiko and the two other girls, they try to pretend like nothing, but in the end they agree to become members after they get a twenty percent discount plus a free notebook from the Kurumis' shop. ^HPC07 Days later, Toshiko follows the club when they discuss club activities. When they get to know that Erika is the little sister of the recently famous Kurumi Momoka, they beg her to somehow give them access to look when they are taking photo shots, excusing it as a club activity. When there, they tease Erika for a short while, but they run when they see a Desertrian, made out of Momoka's jealousy of Erika. ^HPC08
