Pinkies are fairy-like creatures in Yes! Pretty Cure 5. There are fifty five Pinkies total, and each Pinky has a different ability.
Pretty Cure had to catch Pinkies using their Pinky Catches and Coco's help. To catch a Pinky Coco would take a musical instrument from a Pinky Catch and play it. The one with the Pinky catch would slowly wave their arm and the Pinky would come closer and closer to the Catch until it went in. The one with the Catch would then press a button and the Pinky would be inside the Catch. Eventually they would have to put the Pinky inside the dream Collette so that the Catch would be free for another Pinky when needed.
Cure Dream's Pinky Catch uses a bell, Cure Rouge's Pinky Catch uses a trumpet, Cure Lemonade's uses a harp, Cure Mint's uses a flute, and Cure Aqua's uses a violin.
Pinkies are needed to power up the Dream Collet, which is why both Pretty Cure and Nightmare wanted to catch them. Without all fifty five Pinkies the Dream Collet cannot work.
Each Pinky has a special talent, for example, Kuriakuman's talent is bringing customers in to shops. The Pinkies sometimes help out Pretty Cure using their talent like how Kuriakuman copied fliers to advertise Natts House.

- Each Pinky has a small shiny symbol on it telling who caught it. For the Pinkies Nozomi caught, it is a pink circle. For Rin's, it is a red triangle. For Urara's, it is a yellow heart. For Komachi's, it is a green diamond. For Karen's, it is a blue star. Sometimes the shape varies depending on the Pinky, but you can always tell because the shape has two spots of shine on it.
