Hino Genki is Akane's younger brother, and a minor character in Smile Pretty Cure!. He is a first year student at Nanairogaoka Middle School, and made his first appearance in Episode 10.

AppearanceEdit

Genki has short brown hair and dark brown eyes, much like his father Daigo. He stands half a head shorter than Akane, even though he is only one year younger than her.

PersonalityEdit

Like Akane, Genki speaks in the Kansai dialect and loves to joke as well, calling Akane a person who gets carried away too easily and apologizing to the other girls for having to look after her all the time. Despite this, the siblings are united when it comes to the family restaurant, both working hard to cover for their father during his hospitalization stay.

• Voice actress Shiraishi Ryouko also voiced Mizushima Aya, a student of Myoudou Academy in Heartcatch Pretty Cure!.
• Genki's voice actress, Ryouko Shiraishi voiced Ozora Ako from Kaidan Restaurant.
• Ryouko's voice for Genki is Ozora Ako, meaningly Ozora and Shirabe Ako from Suite Precure has the same looks and precdessors and successors.
• The word Genki in his name means Happy or "I'm more than Alright!". More like that.
