Heart Perfumes (ココロパフューム Kokoro Pafyūmu?) are the items used for Hanasaki Tsubomi and Kurumi Erika to transform to their Cure form in Heartcatch Pretty Cure!. This requires the Pretty Cure Seeds to use, which Chypre and Coffret keep. During the transformation, the girls use the Heart Perfumes to spray on their bodies to form the clothes. Myoudouin Itsuki has a similar perfume which she uses to transform, but it is called the Shiny Perfume (シャイニーパフューム Shainī Pafyūmu?). Cure Moonlight's Heart Perfume is taken by Chypre and Coffret and was given to Tsubomi, so Cure Moonlight instead uses the Heart Pot's lid to transform.
Later, it is possible for the girls to put Heart Seeds into the Heart Perfumes in order to power up their abilities. Each Heart Seed has their own power.
Appearance
The three perfumes are similiar in appearance. They are white with a light pink accent and a golden frame on the front. On top of the heart perfume is a gold leaf ornament with a white flower bed attached to it. The perfume front has a hole for a Heart Seed to be entered, and at the bottom is a heart shape.
The Shiny perfume differs in that it has gold accenting, along with a fancier, ornamental gold design on top of it. The frame work on front also differs in design.
After the Pretty Cure transforms, her special heart seed is placed on top of the perfume's front, while a gem ornament is attached to the lower part.

- Heart Perfumes and Shiny Perfume were the first perfumes used as transformation items, they are followed by the Princess Perfume from the series Go! Princess Pretty Cure.
