Nagase Mayumi

Nagase Mayumi (長瀬まゆみ Nagase Mayumi^?) is a minor character in Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! and she is one of the students who attend Tsunagi First Middle School. She is in the same class as Asahina Mirai and Izayoi Riko.

Appearance[]

Mayumi has light tanned skin and big, friendly brown eyes to match her straightened hair, worn in a bob with her bangs pulled aside by a clip. She is usually seen wearing her school uniform, but she wears the blazer opened and a pair of black stockings with her shoes.

Personality[]

Mayumi is very polite and rather calm. However, she usually expresses disbelief at the existence of magic and magicians.

Relationships[]

Katsuki Kana: Her classmate. They become closer friends after Kana encourages her to confess, and then comforts Mayumi over her heartbreak. Despite her disbelief on magicians, Mayumi appreciates and respects how strong Kana's faith in magic is.
Asahina Mirai: Mayumi became Mirai's friend after Mirai did her best to retrieve her hairclip. She admites how Mirai has the straightforwardness to do things.

History[]

Back when she and Mirai were in first year of middle school, one day Mayumi lost her favorite hairclip, which she couldn't find. Mirai then approached and volunteered to help her, eventually helping Mayumi retrieve the hairclip from some flowers. They have become friends since then.^MTPC34

In episode 16, Kana and Mayumi become friends with Jun, Kay and Emily, although both of them are confused about the three girls' unfamiliar terms and excitement regarding their surroudnings during their trip. Both Kana and Mayumi also notice their magic carpet during evening after they leave with François.

In episode 34, she develops a crush on a boy who had helped her, but is heartbroken after the boy reveals that he has a girlfriend. Kana later comforts her, and they become closer friends.

In episode 46, she and Kana are attacked by Benigyo, but the Cures rescue both of them. Both of them promise to keep the Cures' rescue a secret.

In episode 50, Mayumi and Kana are walking through the streets when they witness the floating strawberry melon breads in the sky. They are then surprised and overjoyed to see the Rainbow Carriage fly by.
