Kenjou Miku

Kenjou Miku (剣城みく Kenjō Miku^?) is a supporting character from KiraKira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode. She's Akira's little sister who has a weak body and is usually hospitalized.

Appearance[]

Miku is a young girl with bright magenta eyes and short, fluffy, red hair. Her thickly spiked bangs are brushed to the left and held in place with a pink star clip. She typically wears a white top paired with a pastel orange cardigan that has a white collar and a magenta ribbon in the middle. Her attire is completed with a light mauve pleated skirt that features a pale pink stripe on the hem, white knee socks, and magenta loafers. Additionally, she carries a pastel red purse or pouch with her.

Personality[]

Miku is a friendly girl who loves her older sister, Akira, with all her heart. She is willing to do anything to make a chocolate cake and thank Akira for taking care of her. Like Akira, Miku is also kind and helpful, but sometimes she may push herself too hard to achieve something.

Kenjou Akira: Miku's older sister. She loves her very much and will do anything to help her sister out.

History[]

Miku first debuts in episode 15 as she is temporarily discharged from the hospital, volunteering to help out at KIRAKIRA Patisserie, but cannot catch up with the workload, which upsets her. It is then revealed that she hopes to support her older sister Akira and makes Akira a poodle chocolate cake as a gratitude for helping her overcome her anxiety about dogs. But she soon falls victim to Julio who steals the Kirakiraru from her and the cake, which prompts Akira to rescue her, and her wish of wanting Akira to be happier and less worrisome motivates Akira/Chocolat to defeat Julio. On the bus ride back to the hospital, Miku and Akira promise each other to make sweets together again one day.

In episode 30, Miku and Tomi attend Akira's class's cultural festival, but Akira's responsibilities prevent her from spending time with Miku personally. Elisio later captures Miku with the other festival-goers, as a means to guilt trip Akira for not spending enough time with her. However, Chocolat, who refuses to let anyone including Miku suffer, gains the strength to fight back against Elisio. Miku later gets to spend some time with Akira and they exchange cookies with each other.

In episode 44, Miku is against Akira becoming a researcher to learn about her condition, because she doesn't want Akira's life to revolve around her. She then receives a creepy phone call which is actually from Elisio, who later kidnaps her. Determined to rescue her, Akira faces off against Elisio who has trapped Miku within a monster snowman. In the end, Miku is rescued safe and sound after Akira/Chocolat overcomes Elisio's darkness, and Akira promises to find her a cure. At first, Miku is afraid that she is holding Akira back, but Akira/Chocolat reassures Miku that she understands her own capabilities and hugs Miku. Akira later visits Miku at the hospital, and along with the other girls takes Miku to take a look at the Kamakura Festival pop patisserie, and there Miku and Akira spend time having some chocolate treats together.

In episode 47, Miku is among the people who have lost their emotions and memories, due to Elisio's influence, until she regains them. In the following episode, she is seen disappearing with the other civilians inside a bubble but is restored after the Cures have moved Elisio's heart and recreated the world.

She is last seen in a photo with Akira, who had been accepted into medical school, inside KIRAKIRA Patisserie in the finale.
