Sapphire Arrow (サファイヤアロー Safaia Arō?) is Cure Aqua's attack in Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!. It is one of the few ways to purify the objects possessed by the Hoshina, so it can commonly be named a finisher.
Description[]
Like the rest of the Pretty Cure team, in order to summon her power, Cure Aqua first makes fists with both hands and crosses her them in front of her chest, causing the butterfly-shaped emblem to glow with her signature color. Tiny droplets of water then begin to swirl around her. She reaches forward, and her hand becomes surrounded in a mist. The water gathers into an almost-solid form which Aqua grabs a hold of and bends back into the shape of an archery bow. An audible tightening sound is heard as the bow is tugged back. A large, drill-like torrent then rips from the bow; the camera shows this from three different angles and finally rests on Aqua's eyes. When the arrow hits, a blue shield in the shape of a butterfly appears, purifying the Hoshina.
Aqua has occasionally been seen to shoot multiple Sapphire Arrows, either simultaneously or in rapid succession.
