In the distant Trump Kingdom, a Pretty Cure named Cure Sword is seen fighting a desperate battle against an unbeatable enemy. Meanwhile on Earth, student council president Aida Mana is helping look after the students during a school trip to the Clover Tower. Whilst visiting the mall with her friend, Hishikawa Rikka, she spots the popular idol Kenzaki Makoto, helping to return a curious medallion that she drops whilst her bodyguards escort her out. Whilst visiting an accessory stand, Mana spots a similar looking item known as the Cure Lovies and is given it by the shopkeeper. As Mana and Rikka wait in line to get to the top of the Clover Tower, a mysterious boy named Ira manipulates a waiting customer's heart, transforming his selfish thoughts into a crab-like monster known as a Jikochuu, which causes havoc before heading up an elevator shaft. Fearing for a young girl who went ahead of her, Mana chases after the Jikochuu, followed closely by a fairy named Sharuru. After getting the girl to safety, Mana is approached by Sharuru, who transforms into the Lovely Commune, asking her to transform. As Mana struggles with figuring out how to transform, Cure Sword appears and defeats the Jikochuu, returning the now purified heart to its rightful owner. Just then, Cure Sword is ensnared by another Jikochuu created by Ira's ally, Marmo. As Mana wishes to protect her, her Cure Lovies glows which, when used with the Lovely Commune, gives Mana the power to transform into the Pretty Cure, Cure Heart. | ||||

After a short battle as Cure Heart, Mana manages to save Cure Sword who refuses to acknowledge her. Afterwards Mana is let with the quandary of weather or not to tell her best friend Rikka about Pretty Cure, who refuses to believe her at first but comes around when Mana decides to transform in front of her. | ||||

| As Rikka tries to determine the secrets behind the Cure Lovies, Raquel suggests that she might be able to become a Pretty Cure, though Rikka doesn't feel like she has the confidence to become one. Upon returning home, Rikka receives some souvenirs from her traveling father and writes him a letter back. The next day, Mana and Rikka run into the shopkeeper who gave Mana the Cure Lovies, who gives Rikka a Lovies of her own, which she is reluctant to accept. Meanwhile, Ira targets another citizen and creates a goat-like Letterbox Jikochuu, who starts chewing up everyone's letters. As Mana takes a beating trying to protect Rikka's letter to her father, Rikka concentrates on her feelings of friendship with Mana and gains the power to transform with Raquel to become the Pretty Cure, Cure Diamond, defeating the Jikochuu with her purifying attack, Twinkle Diamond. When the fight is over, they realized Lance is missing, then, they meet Alice. | ||||

| The Cures visit Alice, who tells them she found Lance, and found out about them being Pretty Cures thanks to her security cameras at Clover Tower. Then a Jikochuu appears at the train station, and the Cures rush there, with Alice coming along. Alice refuses to help them with defeating the Jikochuu, because of her past. But when a second Jikochuu appears in the evening, she transforms into Cure Rosetta and fights along aside Cure Heart and Cure Diamond. | ||||

| Suspecting that the idol "MakoP"(Makoto) is Cure Sword the girls go to a TV station owned by Alice's father where they are filming several acts on TV in order to meet her. Mana runs off to ask her to join up but realizes she acted without considering Makoto's feelings and feels bad about it. Later when Makoto's singing act gets interrupted by Marmo, Mana, Alice and Rikka transfrom and try to help but can't. Cure Sword emerges from the smoke onstage where Makoto was and beats the Jikochuu. Now at Mana's house a letter mysteriously arrives from Makoto's manager with tickets to a fan meet and greet and once there Mana apologizes to Makoto for what happened earlier. | ||||

| Makoto decides to take a job, which is doing a cooking special at a restaurant, but it just happens to belong to Mana's father. As it turns out Makoto doesn't know the first thing about cooking but Mana, Rikka and Alice step in and teach her how. The next day, the shoot is going just fine untill Ira calls out a Jikochuu. Makoto transforms into Cure Sword and shows that DB is in fact is Davi and together all four girls defeat the monster. Afterwards Makoto is about to say that she just wanted to be their friend when Pell shows up and sucks them though a portal... | ||||

| The girls find themselves in the ruined Trump Kingdom, seperated from their partners and beholding the fiercesome Selfish King looming in the distance. As Dabyi helps the other fairies search for the girls, both she and Makoto explain what happened to the Trump Kingdom. Makoto was once a warrior and songstress who served the Trump Kindom's princess, Marie Ange. Then one day, the kingdom was attacked by the Selfish, who turned the hearts of its citizens into its large army. Marie Ange managed to seal Selfish King into a dormant state, but exhausted her energy in doing so. After sending the newly born Sharuru, Raquel and Lance to Earth, Makoto and Marie Ange escape through a portal but become seperated when Marie Ange chooses to defend Makoto from Pell's attacks. Finding herself on Earth, Makoto became an idol in the hopes that her songs would one day reach Marie Ange. Makoto explains that Selfish King gains power from the 'janergy' created from Jikochuu, but requires Marie Ange in order to undo the seal placed upon him. The girls are soon chased after by a gang of Frog Jikochuu. Makoto tells the girls to leave her behind, but Mana and the others insist that they want to help restore the Trump Kingdom. The group start making their way to the castle, where the mirror that leads to Earth lies. Upon arriving however, they encounter Pell, who cracks the mirror, seemingly trapping them in the Trump Kingdom. Luckily, Mana deduces they can still use Pell's power to send them back, giving the others courage. Reuniting with their partners and transforming, the Cures combine their powers to beat back Pell before using one of the remaining fragments of the mirror to warp back to Earth. Arriving back safely, the girls make a promise to find Marie Ange and return the Trump Kingdom to its former glory. | ||||

They try to do their best at taking care of her but then they get tips by Joe as then they try to take care of her by making sure she is alright. | ||||

| The girls are having lots of fun helping out the softball team. But Ai-chan is kidnapped by Pell. Mana gets worried seeing Joe get hurt by Pell and Pell steeling Ai-chan, and follows Pell and fights, Pell then sends a truck to defeat Mana but then the girls arrive and transform into Cures. Pell gets angry again and turns himself into a Jikochuu then he starts attacking sticks, in danger the Cures get saved by Ai-chan's shouting and the Cures recive a new weapon called, Love Heart Arrow. Because of that the Cures do their attacks and works as a team to defeat Pell, and after he gets defeated Ai-chan comes back and go to watch the game. | ||||

| Jun, a new seven grader, comes and begs Mana, to become a Student Council. Mana then asks Jun to do what she wants him to do and Jun accepts it. They help people, sell food, and also play, however, Jun becomes sad because of his role and not helping Mana. After doing more sports, Mana than says to Jun, if he can catch her, Jun tries catching and runs, but he falls and has no power. Ira than comes and takes Jun's heart to make himself a Jikochuu. The girls see that there is a Jikochuu and transform. The girls fight and manage to kick and punch the Jikochuu, however Ira than shows the black heart taken from Jun to Cure Heart, making Cure Heart feel sorry. Cure Heart than becomes and angry and performs, Heart Shoot, the Jikochuu gets defeated and everything get back. Mana than says to Jun, that he could become a Student Council Apprentice if he would accept the job, Jun accepts it and thanks Mana with flowers of many kinds. Than, from a far view, someone was seeing them and laughs..... | ||||

| The girls were talking about the princess, and than Makoto said she had a clue to the princess, as it was the "Lady Rose Contest" which the price was a Golden Rose. While going to the contest the girls meet, Regina, appears as she touches Ai, after a while she was gone. Arriving in the contest the girls meet, Reina, Alice's childhood friend and who was bulliying Alice and her friends. They prepare for the contest. The first game was to dance, however, Mana fell as she broke the shoe and they lost. The second game was to draw, however Reina came as she made the painting dirty, Mana then figured out, that Reina was doing that, to make Alice angry. The third one was to play piano, Alice than began to play it as she won. The last game and the hardest was badminton, Alice verses, Reina. Both were trying their best, however Alice's friends were cheering for her making Alice win, after accepting her loss, Reina became angry as she wished if Alice's friends dissapeared, but than she changed her mind as wanted friends like Alice's. Marmo than came near her, telling that it was better to wish that Alice's friends dissapeared, Reina accepted and Marmo took the heart and became a Jikochuu. Alice got angry and turned into a Cure, seeing her friends trapped, Cure Rosetta, did Rosetta Reflection and with the help of the other Cures the Jikochuu got destroyed. After the contest, Ai touched the Goledn Rose, making a Golden Lovie. Meanwhile in the other side, Regina arrived as she said she wanted to become with the Jikochuu Trio and also that she was Selfish King's daughter. | ||||

| Rikka, seeing her score get low, gets angry and depressive. Mana and her friends became to worry. They ask Rikka's mother for more info, listening to her, the think of another idea however it doesn't work, then Dabyi reminds them as she says about the five Crystals. Rikka decides to enter a Karuta competition, as she tries to beat "The Queen". She then becomes angry and then Ira summones a Jikochuu. Rikka becoming more angry then turns into a Cure and defeats the Jikochuu with the help of Cure Heart. Rikka then starts the competition again, and as a gift The Queen gives Rikka a pair of Karutas. Ai then touches the cards and then a Blue Crystal is produced. Rikka then gets happy as she sees her father and then they have a ride with him and her mother. | ||||

| Makoto had taken part in a new movie called "Snow White" as she was has the main role, however Makoto's rival, Ootori Tamaki, who wanted the part badly always wanted to be Snow White. Makoto in the same time also searched for Marie-Ange if she could find her, Mana and her friends hearing about that, then started to make Makoto concentate on her acting, while they finded Marie-Ange. Meanwhile, Regina was making a plan to defeat the Cures. Makoto then started acting however she forgot her lines, after some days, Makoto then got better at it. At the last shoot, Regina then came as she made Tamaki's heart being blackened and summoned a Jikochuu. Makoto and her friends then transformed. The Cures were trying their best at defeating the Jikochuu, however Cure Heart's Heart Shoot didn't work. Ai seeing the Cures being defeated then summoned new Lovies and the Cures performed Lovely Force Arrow and the Jikochuu got defeated. Regina then introduced herself and left. Makoto then got a present by Tamaki and thanked her. The Royal Crystal reacted to Tamaki's gift and a new Purple Crystal formed as everyone smiled. | ||||

| Regina had an idea to get closer to Mana and get info on the crystals and also Pretty Cures. She then started to befriend Mana. Makoto seeing Mana with Regina decided to forget about Mana. Mana was losing classes, and her friends, as Regina separated her. Makoto then felt bad and was going to visit her. Regina then told Mana she was going to do something to her friends and then Mana began to worry. Regina summoned a Jikochuu and started fighting the Cures. Mana seeing her friends down transformed into Cure Heart. They regrouped and performed, Lovely Force Arrow and everything got back to normal. Mana also became friends with Makoto again. | ||||
